The Kilner® Sourdough Starter Set contains all the components needed to make a successful sourdough, which can then be turned into fresh and delicious bread. Pancakes, naan breads, pizza and other baked goods can also be made with the sourdough starter set.

Why sourdough – sourdough is made from flour (rye, spelt or wheat flour) and water – without any other additives. The flour contains healthy lactic and acetic acid bacteria, these need some time to develop and then ensure that the bread not only tastes tastier, but also lasts longer than if it is baked only with yeast. The only thing you need is flour, water, heat and a little time – quite simple especially tasty. The set includes two jars so that a second serving can be made at the same time. The stainless steel measuring lid is specially designed to accurately measure flour and water.
