The Mulino hand mill is a small hand mill with a beautifully designed mill housing, the size of an old-fashioned coffee mill. The difference between a coffee mill and the Mulino is that grain mills have a stone grinder, while coffee mills almost always have a metal grinder, which is necessary because of the high oil content of the coffee.
The self-sharpening and self-centring cone grinder made of natural materials has already proven its worth for years. It works residue-free and therefore does not need to be cleaned after use. The grinding capacity depends on you and varies between 35 and 90 grams per minute, depending on how finely you grind and how strong you are.
The Mulino can grind all types of grain, both gluten-containing and gluten-free. The exceptions are maize, which cannot flow into the hopper due to its size, and popcorn, which cannot be ground due to its hardness.
The degree of fineness of the grinding is adjustable, from very fine to very coarse. The flour trickles into the spacious drawer.
The Mulino can be attached to a tabletop with table brackets. Felt feet ensure that the mill does not scratch the tabletop when grinding. You can also grind, just like coffee grinders used to, by simply clamping it between your knees.
The grinder works with ball bearings, so it is easy to operate and requires no maintenance. The crank is made of polished precious metal. The mill body gets its silky sheen from the Auro beeswax treatment.
The Mulino is made by the mill manufacturer Kornkraft. Kornkraft produces only hand mills, which is why their mills are ahead of other hand mills on the market, both technically and in terms of workmanship. They are extremely sophisticated mills that have been thought out down to the smallest detail.
IMPORTANT: Table mounts are not included with the mill, you can order them separately.
