"Denk" ceramic baking dish. Its special feature is the narrow groove running around the edge, which, when filled with water, forms a cloud of steam around the bread. This makes the crust of the bread wonderfully crispy.
The bread pan is made of heat-resistant ceramic, so the bottom of the bread also forms a crispy crust without burning. This technique also keeps the bread fresh for longer.
Before baking, the ceramic baking dish must be preheated in the oven. Then place the loaf on it and fill the groove with water.
