Today, there is a lot of confusion about what a 'healthy' diet actually is. My experience is that if a diet vegetarian, vegan or raw, there is no guarantee that it is healthy.
Therefore, our main focus is on what makes our food healthy.
During the four days we discuss all about food und nutrition, and prepare each time some delitious dishes according to the princips of the wholefood cooking.
By the end of the four sessions, you'll be able to move confidently around the kitchen and prepare delicious, healthy and quick-to-prepare meals for yourself and your family.
The focus in food preparation is on simplicity, on making food preparation fit into your everyday life.
Equal emphasis is placed on making sure that what we prepare is tasty, or even very tasty, and that our families and children are happy with it.
And, of course, there is also a strong emphasis on aesthetics, because our eyes eat with us.
"I am originally a pharmacist, but short after my studies my interests switched to health promotion and through that to nutrition. In Germany, I did a training as a health counsellor, which is all about a holistic approach to health promotion, and within this framework I learned to think about our health in a different way and to cook in a different way. At the University of Pécs I completed the Master's degree in Nutrition Studies.
I have been involved in health promotion for 20 years, I have been running cooking classes and camps, giving lectures and nutrition and prevention counselling. As a science journalist, I have written articles, series and edited radio programmes for many media.
In my cooking classes, the emphasis is on simplicity, health, and the gastronomic experience. But beyond that, I also bring an ecological approach to the kitchen. The cooking classes cover all aspects of holistic cooking, from bread baking to healthy snacking, raw foods, vegan cooking, gluten-free and hay fever diet workshops."
"Judit, you got me back into regular cooking after about 9 years. Even my mom couldn't. I still get orders in, but rarely. Thank you!"
"These four days were the best investment of my life"
"The breads were well received at home. We tried it as toast and as a hot sandwich. But the biggest hit was the kuglof, so I baked it this week... It was gone in no time. I made fresh jam and peanut butter to go with it.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the experience and the knowledge. I hope I can find time to apply them."
